This is a sad sad day for the guitar world. He was an awesome luthier and his aluminum necks were awesome. He made some real quality stuff.
RIP Travis Bean

"Slash...On the Travis Bean" - My only knowledge of the Travis Bean guitar, from Slash using it on the Use Your Illusion DVD I have of the Tokyo gig.

I have never heard of this man, but aluminium necks sound very interesting, props for experimenting and from his list of clients, he obviously made some fantastic stuff. Rest in Peace, wish I'd heard of you sooner.
