Thanks to everyone who submitted their entries! To the others, maybe next time.

Take the time to listen to all of the entries before voting for your favorite. There are only five, so it shouldn't take too long. I'll leave the poll open for a week, though from past experiences, in these types of contests the winner is usually pretty clear after a short time, but I'll keep it open anyway. I won't make it public, so you can post in this thread if you really want people to know who you voted for. Also, I'll be writing an article about the contest for the upcoming issue of Amplified.

Thanks again to everyone who was involved and thanks for voting!

Hey I'm sorry I was busy with a lot of things, maybe next time though.

My voices is the male equivalent to that of Carmel's, or so I have been heard...it's sorta a good thing that I didn't enter, my voice would have won by a landslide.

Krvolok.. you have such a hypnotizing voice. It's so calm and soothing

you should become a hypnotist.

also SheKILaDZE, I laughed so hard when your second part came on. Was not expecting that.

I'm gonna have to vote Stud muffin though. I thought his was the most convincing and natural sounding.

Hate the reading....

Anyway, between primusfan and stud_muffin...

Think I'll have to go with stud_muffin.

Also, please learn to record spoken word people. I don't want to hear the saliva in your mouth.

just thought i'd comment on each of the individual accents.

krvolok: your natural voice is very calm and soothing. you'd give Justin (spanishyanez) a run for his money in that department.

muffinduck01: Ahnold! that's always funny, and you did a good job at it.

primusfan: very creative with the extra bits, i though the mother's accent was slightly more accurate sounding than Mortimer's, but still good.

SheKILaDZE: brilliant choice, and you pulled it off well. i'd never have thought of that in a million years. just wondering, how did you come up with that?

Stud_Muffin: Scottish accents are one of the best, and you did a great job with it.

Thanks man,I come from a family of epic baritones and have always hated my squiggly tenor,so any remark is welcomed. My only regret, the small number of entries, shame really
Perhaps next time there will be more.
One more thing, got nothing against Byron, but I really hate that particular poem.Brings back a whole lotta bad memories.

Why must it be so difficult? If it was going on native accent alone, it would be krvolok all the way. But now I'm torn between the lure of Primusfans' beautiful reading and ridiculous accent/scenario, and stud_muffin's near perfect Scots.

lol guys glad you found it amusing I was gonna do a Japanese accent but man poems really don't come off well with accents. And to theogonnia777 I was getting pissed off with my Japanese accent and it just hit me... didn't know if it was within the rules but whatever

only just found out about the voting now, so gonna go listen to the other guys, but I remember Arnold was great.
