Just bought a new bass, a 6 string

I usually play in C# (C#, F#, B, E)

Now i've managed to tune my 6 string to, C#, F#, B, E, A

But my tune can't seem to tune to B string.

My chromatic doesn't seem to be picking up G# as its meant too?

or am I just getting confused...and should i just leave the B string, in B?

Hit the 12th fret harmonic on the C# string and hold the 5th fret of the G#.
Tune until they match.

Then get a better tuner

EDIT: Also respect for a fellow C# tuning user.

Okay guys, I have a confession to make. Not really a confession since it's something that's been bugging me for awhile but I've always been in denial about it.

**** you gilly, it's not what you think

If your 5th and 12th are out it would be pretty unplayable.
