Heyhey,

So I know I'm gonna probably get a lot of shit for this, but here's a link to my first dance track, "Move Closer":

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eVfNrxYxt4k&feature=channel_video_title

It's episode 18 of my series "7 Days - Write/Record/Produce" where I'm writing, recording and producing a new song each week for 6 months. Keen on getting some feedback and if you like the idea of the series then your support in subbing and/or spreading it around with your friends is greatly appreciated.

And of course I'll do C4C

Good concept, I might just subscribe tomorrow when I come back from work!

The track sounds very nice through my speakers. Good use of layering instruments, although the vocals sound a little weird - some of the phrasing is a bit dodgy, sounds too high and sometimes a bit random? But that just might be me conforming to the usual pop/rock style!

Really good stuff - I don't listen to a lot of Dance, but I know that this is a good attempt, sounds great!

Please could you C4C this?

Thanks man, will keep the vocal thing in mind. The vox defs are a bit different for the genre, but I figured that dance music often has wierd random stuff happening haha. Thanks again, C4C is all done, dig your stuff

I kinda like this track you've made... I'm a big fan of dance music among other genres I found that your song flowed quite well and the guitar part was incorporated perfectly with the song. I agree with the other crit you've been given though about the vocals being a bit weird... although the song is quite different to other dance tracks so maybe unique could be the word i'm looking for

Keep it up!!

Could you C4C please?...

I like the acoustic guitar, it gives it a unique sound.

That part where you say 'well i don't give a damn...' and your voice gets really high just needs to go in my opinion. You seem to have quite a bit of trouble hitting that note. If you do it an octave lower though, I think it'll sound solid.

Everything flowed together very well.

Sounds good! The beat is really good but gets kind of repetitive and annoying after a while (but I think thats the point. lol) The vocals could use a bit of work but I can tell you were going for that 70's 80's feel to it so thats kind of the way it should sound i guess. Other than that, keep up the good work!

Reminds me of 3OH!3 or breathe carolina. I think? i dont listen to either often but thats my initial thought. Its very well produced and innovative with the acoustic guitar. Needs more nuances, very repetitive, seems very simple in terms of the basic beat. Vocals need some work very pitchy and you might want to layer a bit more with vocals. Its really well produced, sounds professional, song is good but its a little mainstream for me.

Check out my stuff please: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1462564

THanks for the crit guys, will keep all this in mind for my next dance track, whenever that may be :P.

All your C4C is now done, as for Xander: Sick guitars and guitar tones, sounds really cool I'd look forward to hearing it with some vocals. Drums sound a bit boxy though, but loved the guitars.

Products purchased from Coach Stores, factory stores and from their menu are guaranteed to be a real business. In fact, some departmental stores, special stores and catalogs serve as a Coach Handbag outlet discount coach handbags outlet along with a limited number of duty free stores and the internet websites. In many of the main factory warehouses back stocked merchandise might show up that never made it out of the factory.
