So I was having a quick browse through some local guitar stores, when I came across one of these:

A quick search yields only this:

Apparently 24,800 Yen is 194 pounds but that was used (and in japan), so what does everyone think?

Note: the one I saw was Red like the 1st pic with 3 mini humbuckers like the 2nd. It had a satin neck and painted headstock. Presumbly, it had a mahogany body too, but I can't be sure

Looks cool, but its probably a cheap piece of crap. can you find out anything from the seller like wood type? It maybe a good mod platform.

like I said, mahogany body, rosewood fretboard and maple neck. I was probably going to change the electronics anyway, but the guy in the shop said £250, and I could probably haggle it down to £200. The people at the shop, couldn't even remember where it came from though.

With a little more searching, I think they're made in either Korea or Japan

EDIT: found this article on one of their other guitars:

Well I got the guitar today, so here are some pics that don't do the guitar justice:

Summary:
These guitars are very rare so there's little info about them on the net. The Paint is a sparkling red colour and the body has some very nice contours, especially for higher fret access. As far as I know I think these guitars are made in Korea. I think they were/are shipped only into USA (and maybe Japan), so this may be an import. It has a 2 piece maple neck with a very nice satin finish and a glossy headstock face. The body is probably mahogany. It has 3 minihumbuckers and plays beautifully.

Unfortunately, the rest of the guitar's history is a mystery to me. It doesn't actually say on the guitar where it was made. And I don't know for sure what the body wood is but it does sound fairly warm.

It cost me £150 and my old Pacifica 112 so I can't complain!

Sweet. Love the look of it and the mini humbuckers.
