Hello there I found a used MIM Duo Sonic for $250 and I was wondering if that would be a good deal but back when these came out in the early 90s they originally coast $250. I will be playing rock and punk mostly.

Well, it doesn't look like the Squier reissue with a Fender neck, so I'd say get it. The Pickups looked swapped so it's #1 problem has already been fixed for you.

It's fairly common, actually people like to slap a fender logo onto a replacement neck and try to pass it off as vintage or what not because original Duo-Sonics had S/Ns on the neck plate.
