I am in the market for a superstrat guitar with a floyd rose, with a two humbucker setup or at least no middle pickup.

I want to get a guitar used, and my price range is around 350-800 dollars.

here are my top two choices.
Jackson Dk2m

ESP M-II deluxe

I am also looking for older jackson, esp and charvels.

what other guitars are out there for me to buy?

I personally own a 2009 made Jackson DK2M. Its been playing flawlessly (minor setup adjustments now and then) since i've bought it.
The trem is pretty stable under extended usage too.
What i especially like is the tonal versatility the SD pickups provide.
Set up:-
Kustom Sound 40W Guitar Amp
Marshall MG15 CD
Zoom 707 II (surprisingly good..)
VOX Tonelab ST
Jackson DK2M (Seymour duncan TB4 and the SD jazz)

An MIJ Charvel, either an older one or one of the new Pro Mods. Great guitars.
I got my Model 3 for $200, it gets played more than any of my other guitars.

how is the neck profile? Thinner than a strat?

can you flutter with the floyd?

Its japanese made, part of the jackson pro sereise, and in my eyes better then charvel so-cals or san dimas because they dont have recessed floyds and this does. and dont be drawn back by the "licensed" floyd. that thing holds tuning and i ABUSE it. the pickups are great for vintage stuff, and the 59 in the neck has amazing clean character to it. the neck is like a hybrid fat/fast neck which i suspect has a compund radius. plus, the white gutiar and black binding up the neck and headstock is damn sexy. i would be happy to answer any other questions regarding this guitar

The only real answer to the SG vs Les Paul debate is to get a Flying V and laugh at all the suckers who don't have one.

if you embrace inaccurate intonation it can be quite arousing.

The Jackson is a good guitar, but that ESP would just destroy it. It's a way better value than the Jackson, if you can get it in the price range you mentioned. It is just a higher quality instrument.
