And so the clear-out begins

First is a mid-2000s Mexican Standard Strat in black with a maple fretboard. My very first guitar, so there's a fair amount of buckle rash and the like, but no major chips. The only significant thing to mention is that there's a small crack in the finish in the neck pocket - my tech had a look at it and said it's only superficial and quite a common issue, so no worries there.

I've got the trem arm and back cover somewhere, will try and retrieve them. Looking for £220 if you want to get this from Edinburgh or £245 for insured postage.

Next up is a very suave , all-black 1987/88 Japanese Charvel Model 2 I bought from my guitar teacher. Quite a bit of swirling on the back and a few small dinks by the input jack but nothing else. The jack is brand new BTW, as the last one died on me. Also has a coil-tap on the solitary volume control, a locking nut and a Jackson-style Floyd Rose.

Just want what I paid for this - £200 or £225 delivered.

Finally is my Epiphone Dot. Really want to get along with hollow-bodies, but I think they just sound better when other people are playing them. Also mid-2000s in a rather fetching sunburst. May have the pickguard but not too sure about this one.

Currently fitted with a pair of Bareknuckles Stormy Mondays with coil-taps on both volume controls. As is I'd be after £330 or £350 delivered with a fitted hardcase, or I could do it for £220/£245 if you'd rather have it with stock pickups.

Hi, you wouldn't want to swap the Strat for a Michael Kelly, Patriot Custom would you?

I so regret not buying it now. I never thought you'd actually part with it though, it was just so..nice. Forgive my ignorance, but is the Dot a 24.75" scale like most other Epiphone/Gibson guitars?

OMG DENTHUL YAY

Yeah, it was really nice and I wrote loads of my band's early riffs on it but it just didn't quite fit in with the music I was trying to make. Also I really need to get my hands on a Jazzmaster ASAP ...

And yeah, pretty sure the Dot is standard Gibson length

Ah, boo. Not looking for another of that scale.

Well, I hope she sells.

And yes, I'm still alive. Barely.
