I'd give a packet of Monster Munch (Flaming Hot) and 50p for it.

And that is my final offer.

Yeah, if it was mine, I would never consider selling it.

That's in Australian dollars. For all I know, that could be the price of a pack of monster munch or even a pack of space raiders.

I'd sell my family first, then soul, then maaybe house. Hell yes I'd be able to play it, that's all I'd do.

I wouldn't want to own that to be honest.

My largest offer would be that which I'd pay for a vintage Fender, which would be £5k max. (Not that I have that... ... also bearing in mind that the vintage Fenders I look at are all fairly mashed an all mid-late 60s models bringing the price down, and awh yeah I'd play them! But maybe not live, too much of a risk).

Ugly ass guitar, I'm pretty sure I could find something better to spend the money on. Deposit for a house? New car? Hookers and cocaine??

Indeed. Though because it's gold, it's looks cheap and tacky. Might as well buy a guitar from Argos

My first guitar was from Argos

It was fucking terrible.

Argos only stock Squiers.

This is not a coincidence.

I worked on a Black Beauty, can't remember which year, but it was worth tens of thousands. It was a mate of mines brother's, and it'd been under his bed for 30 years. I asked how much he wanted for it.

He said £220.

I didn't have the heart to buy it, I told him how much it was really worth.

I don't care how rare that guitar is. If I owned it and could sell it for that much, it'd be sold in a heartbeat.

Same here.

I'd probably hardly play it. "What if I scratch it?!"

My house has no space.

I could use the money to buy like, you know, 60 other guitars costing 5k.

And encores.

Which are even worse than Squiers, somehow.

Nothing. The hell would I do with that? I don't even like LPs. No guitar is worth that much money...
#24
I buy guitars to play them, not to collect them. I also don't like LPs.

With that money I could get numerous custom built guitars built to my exact specs.

If I was a multi-millionaire I'd get it. Otherwise, hell no. I could just about buy anything I wanted for that price.
