How do I keep that from happening? I'm using IE8 at work, and it's really a pain to have to close these ads all the time to do anything else. FYI, I have popups blocked, so that's not helping.

1.) Wrong section, you're really gonna get flamed for that.
2.) UG does offer pop-up blocker for a charge.
3.) I've heard people have success with Firefox.
4.) You on UG while at work? Congratulations, you are fighting the power

You might not be the only one who is annoyed, but you are the only one moaning about it in the acoustic forum.

Yeah man, quite frankly they are super annoying, and I hate how they strategically hide the close button on all of them - and how they keep opening even after you close them if you so much as bring the mouse pointer anywhere close to them, its quite annoying.

But alas, UG is a free website and they have to make revenue somehow. They now offer AD-FREE UG for a small cost, so if you can't get over it I suggest going that route.

Don't complain, I think its against the rules and you'll probably get a warning.
