I've just started playing a full set in the last month. I want some good metal songs that are easy. The heavier the better. I like Death Metal, Deathcore, Metalcore, Grindcre, stuff like that. I know that some of the styles i listed are extremly hard to play I was just being hopeful. I also like alot of the classics.

Metal is a pretty demanding genre (esp. death metal and grindcore), so while this probably isn't what you want to hear, it'll be a while before you can even hold an ez-mode skank beat without screwing up.

A lot of -core where pretty much all the grooves consist of crash on every beat and the snare on the 3 is piss easy though... give that a shot I guess. Like the Acacia Strain, Emmure.

You can always throw down some Obituary, they are good heavy death metal and have easy songs to play. Try jamming lockjaw that is an easy one.

I'd say start out with Metallica. They're probably not as heavy as you'd like, but most of their songs are pretty easy (especially the ones from the Load/Reload era).

Honestly I'd suggest holding off on death metal. There really arent that many easy death metal songs..

also megadeth have some pretty easy drum beats too. Symphony of destruction's a good example
