Been having a chat with my buddy, and he went offline on Facebook, so we both decided to hit the "Also send as a text message" box, and we were able to carry on for a bit. But I fell asleep, and tried to reply to the thread this morning on my phone. The message went through and he got it, but when he tried to respond to me from his phone, his messages wouldn't get pushed through to my phone...

Is there a way to ensure the messages get pushed? I know the "Also send as a text message" thing gets disabled every time you log onto Facebook, but if we're both sending SMS through our phones, shouldn't the messages carry?

Buddy's in NY for 2 weeks. I'm in Toronto. I'd prefer not to get charged out the ass for international texting rates...

Connect to a wifi network and use some sort of instant messaging program.

That thing elephants do that lets off a super low sub-bass frequency that other elephants can hear from miles away.

You could try using the warning beacons in Mordor

There are no warning beacons in Mordor.
