Hello guys, I just noticed that on my M-1000 when you play the low E note with force, the truss rod cover rattles, because it touches the locking nut.

On this guitar there is only one screw for the cover so doesn't sit in place...
So I was wondering if it's ok to just remove the cover, will that affect the truss rod?

Not sure why they didn't add two more screws though...

For the same reason they cover the hold instead of just finishing like Fender: to save money.

Fender has straight headstocks, ESP/lots of other brands have 12 or 13 degree angled headstocks. They're a bit different.
