I recently got a Digitech RP355, and then pedal seems quite loose. I did get it used, and my friend who got one new has a much tighter pedal with most resistance. Is there any way I can do this? I tried tightening the bolt to the side of the pedal, but that did nothing.

Ok, there's a bolt on the right side of the pedal. See it? Just use a wrench or a socket and tighten it.

Yeah, I think that's the only way you can tighten it.

I thought you meant the distortion was loose and you were looking for a way to tighten up the distortion

you may need some WD40 or something to loosen the nut

are you running this through the Vypyr or the Cube or what?

^cool sig

v...yes. Of course.

i had the same problem, what i did was take the whole thing off, so i undid the bolt took it out cleaned it all up then put it back together again and tightened it up real good. i had the exact same problem as you did.

So you are positive that the bolt does tighten it? It was so hard to turn I didn't want to break my pedal... But now maybe I'll try a little harder.

If it's hard to turn I wouldn't tighten it. Do what wozzsta did. Take it apart and make sure the threads are lubricated and any spacers and such are in good working order.

There may be a locknut that may make it difficult to turn. But don't force anything .Or the threads may be bottomed out and that's why the nut wont turn anymore. You could add a washer or 2 for a spacer if that's the case.

Is there anything I can do to make it better?
