Hey people.

Just felt i was gonna post my scream cover of In Flames "Take this life" here.

Just a few pointers before you comment, pointed to the haters.

I dont have one of the best mics in the world, so get over the quality.

As far as mixing goes this was one of the first ones i didand therefor it is not the best, but you can hear me.

Also pointing out i´ve only screamed for the past 3 months.

EDIT: I know it gets worse towards the end, need to practice my breathing more.

A tip: most DAW programs or standalone EQ VSTs have an option to extract the vocal channel from a song. You might wanna give it a try. You'll be a backing track on an original song, no matter how much you amplify your voice or sing good.

Other than that, I think your vocals have the energy to make it happen. You're making the listener feel it - whatever it is that makes a person jump up and down during a song. But you don't change tone ever - it's gonna sound routine after a while that way.

Keep practicing and keep up the good work.

Give my In Flames covers a listen if you have time: https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1408553

Yer stuff sound great man!
Could get abit fatter sound though, but that´s just my opinion.

About the changing tone thing, yeah i agree. I guess i´ll have to practice screaming scales so i can make different notes with my scream, at the moment i just try to stay in key and get a good sound/feeling.
