I like the shape of the Mockingbird, with paintjob of the Bullseye and the tone of the Stratocaster. But honestly, these guitars are too different to really compare ..
Please let me keep this memory, just this one ..
#3
Yeah they are...i sort of had an idea that players styles would effect their choice here \,,/

Hmm, honestly the Vendetta isn't very good quality, IMHO. Maybe not the ST but the Mockingbird Special would be the way to go, if it was on the list. But out of these, for more bang for your buck, I would have to say the Strat .

i prefer everything about the strat. its aesthetics, its ergonomics, its simplicity and its versatility of sound.
I'm a dude, he's a dude, she's a dude, we're all dudes HEY!

First choice would be strat. then Zakk LP

i dont have the most experience with some of those. but ive played a small variety, and honestly, people rag on the vendetta, but i was very impressed with such a cheap guitar. it was paulownia so it was super light, and you could DEFINITELY tell the tone difference because of the wood. one of the few times id say wood made a difference. i liked it a lot. the les paul was bad. strats are definitely very versatile and impressive. the zakk and mock i have no idea about (except that the bullseye is hideous!)

I'd go with the Mockingbird on all accounts there, I love the shape, it looks comfortable(I'd love to try one, but a lefty Mockingbird in Newfoundland? Hah...), they sound nice and I love BC Rich necks. I honestly didn't like the MiM Strats I've tried(my buddy's Squier Affinity Strat I love to death, but Iunno, I guess that was either a real gem or the 3 MiMs I tried were all duds), the Wylde LP's really not my thing and while I own a Dean and love how it sounds after having swapped the pickups for some DiMarzios, the main reason I like it is for the feel, and it's an ML, which I love the feel of, whereas I don't like the feel of Strat-shapes much, so Iunno about the Vendetta.

Nah, I prefer to tune lower. My tunings usually go into weird Hebrew symbols.

Metal head here choosing the Strat. If that Epi were a Gibson I'd choose it.

mockingbird has more bang for your buck on that list. consider other guitars too, dont limit yourself

The only real answer to the SG vs Les Paul debate is to get a Flying V and laugh at all the suckers who don't have one.

if you embrace inaccurate intonation it can be quite arousing.

Agreed, however, I chose strat..since I'm not into buying cheaper guitars...

But seriously, is that an ecclectic enough selection? Why do you want to know??

But theres no reason why i cant be free like a raspberry stuck to the back of a horny elephants ass.

This is maybe the worst comparison in the history of comparisons.

i prefer the Mockingbird ST for jazz

the Zakk Wylde for country

the strat mostly just for opera covers.

i just use the vendetta to keep my window from slamming shut.

I chose the mockingbird but if it was an american standard then I'd choose the strat

Out of them? I'd have the Strat and chuck the rest in the bin. The Zakk Wylde and the BC Rich are too gimicky and the Dean is just shite.

Dean Vendetta- low end guitar series

BC Rich Mockingbird ST- ALL DEM BUTTONS

Epiphone Zakk Wylde Bullseye- EMGs? nothankyou

Fender Standard Stratocaster- singlecoil in bridge position? why u do dis

Probably the strat and shove some stacked humbuckers in it. Fender playability is loev
#23
i have the zakk wylde epi lp custom...got in craigslist used, with active emg's and a case for 400.

i dig it, i love maple necks, and i still get to have a les paul....its a little heavy and i feel like a zk fanboy are the only downsides.

assuming you mean with the stock emg's hzs, id probably choose the mockingbird over it though

Lol, only one's that are worth anything are the coil-splits (welll.... to an extent) and the volume knob. I'd leave the rest out of I was building one.

I would say a standard Strat for 4 reasons.

1. They are pretty good in terms of craftsmanship
2. They sound good
3. They're cheap
4. You can do pretty much anything you want to it.

This is terrible advice. Even worse than the useless dry, sarcastic comment I made.
