In the future I will (hopefully) be purchasing a Mesa Dual Rectifier Head or an Orange Rockerverb or Thunderverb Head used from ebay or classified ads (I have tried them out before and love 'em). I want to know what 2x12 (or 4x12) speaker cabinet would match these amps well and wouldn't be too expensive. I play some blues and clean stuff, but mostly rock and metal. Basically, I need to know how much money to have left over after buying the head. Thanks in advance guys.

Pretty much anything with V30s should be fantastic.

A matching Orange or Mesa cab would work well. V30s.

Earcandy, Whitebox, and Avatar are all good ones to look at too for good prices.

Cheapest "good" cab you can get is probably the Marshall 1960 cab - they go for around $350. I believe Avatar cabs are also in this price range (used of course).

If I was in America I'd probably go for an Avatar. I haven't seen one in person but 311 posted some detailed pics of their construction and several guys on the WTLT list here swear by them. I'd take their advice, more reliable than advice by random geese.
Used, your best bet is a Marshall 1960, for those amps try to get a 1960V (those have V30's). Marshall cabs can often be found very cheap, they are everywhere. People find them in the back of garden sheds when they spring clean. Seriously though, they are ubiquitous; one has to come up cheap eventually.
