I fancy a custom build, but don't have the knowledge / tools / time to do it myself!
So i'm willing to pay someone to do it to my specs

Anyone interested?

UK only

Email warmoth, maybe they can do a custom job for you.

Warmoth general put their prices through the roof though.

I'm hoping that you didn't want that guitar copied from your thread in GG&A, if it is... I may have to withdraw my offer of being your fallback option :p

Well, if you want nice hardware, nice grades of wood, etc. Parts will cost you somewhere in the 800 ball park. (The build Im going to do is around there)

I'm sure they'll charge you at least minimum wage for themselves, and it, depending on how much effort they give, can take damn near 75-100 hours....

Basically for a LPish build I'd probably charge you between £400 and £500 ($650-800 if you wanted to compare to Jay's prices but he's much better than I am, I want him to build me a guitar :p) which would cover parts, labour and be cheap enough to compensate for the fact I'm not very experienced and therefore slow. My build quality isn't bad but I have to take my time doing it.

Forgot about the UK thing on that post above, I meant $800 not 800 GPB.

Yeah dude, £500 sounds very reasonable! Do you have any examples of stuff?

Nah, sadly not, anything I did before now was just bits and peices to learn routing skills and things and I didn't feel they were picture worthy, bodys, cavity routes etc. and my jigsaw abilities still suck donkey balls Currently doing my stains and finishes "skills training" and having a go at scalloping, but I also recently lost my job and I have a 7 month old daughter so both time and money constraints are limiting me.

Got a complete build in the works atm but I've run into a few tool related issues I've had to fix before continuing. If you can wait I should have some serious progress for you to see by the end of the month.

Like I said, I'm not totally comfortable being able to sell just yet, but providing my skills don't let me down completely in this build, and I can't afford a new router, I may change my mind.

You know what? I can build you the air guitar of your dreams for only 400 GBP. (If you can't do the math thats 100 GBP less than your other quote.) Heck, I'll even throw in a case and shipping from here in the US for free!!!
I pride myself on my humility.

I could do it for between £450 and £650, depending on hardware and maple cap options (cheapest would have no cap, most expensive would have a 12.75-25.0mm AAA flamed or quilted maple top and full carve).
