what is your favorite guitar strap? i have a very plain black nyon with a stiched skull on one end. Thinking of getting a hellsbelts bullet strap. Just curious what everyone else uses or has.

Also, anyone know where i can get a 100 watt amp for $300 or less?
just kidding

The one that holds my guitar up so it doesn't fall on the floor and break.

Personally prefer Levy's straps with the leather ends, 2-2.5 inches wide. Don't care for thick straps or full leather straps

edit: also, Dunlop Straploks FTW
Gear:
Epiphone Explorer (Lucy)
Jay Turser Les Paul
1986 B.C. Rich Mockingbird N.J. Series w/Kahler Flyer Trem
Squier Strat
Washburn Lyon Acoustic
Charvel Bass
Fender Frontman 212
Dunlop Original Cry Baby

Either this one:

Or this one:

I also have a really nast Levy's one that has an alternating mix of skull and crossbones and checker board patterns. I don't like that one.

I also saw a really nice strap one time that had a parrot and a rainforest printed on it, but I can't remember who made it or what it was called =[

EDIT: A quick google search found it. It was this one:

Them Planet waves Joe Satriani Straps (Link). They're built pretty tough, and they're the most comfortable strap I've ever used. I got the red one.
Rig:
Jackson SLSMG/Ibanez S470QS/Charvel DS-1 -> JCA100H/BV50H -> Carvin V212

Levy's leather ones are the most comfortable. I like both the Schaller and Dunlop straplocks, but the Dunlops seem more study to me, even though they're bigger and more noticable.

One other one I have is just plain black suede leather that has a flame sort of engraved in it but couldn't find it thru a quick search.

Levy's, best straps out there.

Do you have a height requirement on the 100 watt amp?

I need to measure my bandmate's stack first, so it looks more organized when we play a concert for our parents.

I have a leather one(dont know what brand), a black with white dots levi, and a black nylon with leather ends, which I like the most.

Liberty, Texas? You don't happen to mean Liberty Hill, Texas...do you? I drive out there all the time to play in my church band.

Nope, Liberty, in between Houston and Beaumont.

But I heard in Liberty Hill theres some myth with a witches grave or something, you familiar?

Darn, would of been cool to know a UG'er from there. No, I'm not familiar with that myth, but coincidentally, there is a massive grave yard right across from our church.

I used an old shoe string for a while, but now I use a Rockband guitar strap. This isn't meant as trolling either, I'm dead serious. Also, I'm very poor.

Actually, the shoestring was one that ripped off my Converse when I tried to tie them, so I tied it on my guitar strap things. It worked for a couple months, but then it broke.

No, it doesn't matter at all. i was just curious and since we talk about every other piece of gear we use or have i thought it would be fun. from shoestring to leather, nothing matters if you like what you are using.
