So whats your favourite psychological thriller movies?
they tend to be a favourite genre among most people, and happen to be my favourite.

a few of mine are:

American Psycho - Bale owns this movie
Fight Club
Donnie Darko
Mullholland Drive
Primal Fear - Ed Norton is absolutely amazing in this
The Usual Suspects

OLDBOY. It's just hiding on netflix, waiting for unsuspecting browsers.

Usual Suspects was awesome, but then everybody copied it and it loses some of the magic on subsequent viewings. Mulholland Drive is also pretty messed up, but so is David Lynch.

Also, many people like to list se7en as a great movie. I thought it was very forgettable. I've seen it twice and enjoyed it both times, but I don't think it deserves IMDB Top 25 of all time. (Just my twopence)

Came here to say Oldboy. Not only one of the best of this genre, it's also one of the best revenge movies ever made. Hell, it's easily in my top ten films of all time. Amazing, amazing movie.

One catch though, I believe the version on Netflix is dubbed, which ruins the movie. Do yourself a favor and download (or preferably buy, as it's well worth it) the subtitled version. Doesn't disappoint.

God damn, I want to watch Oldboy so badly, but the Netflix instant one is fucking dubbed, which I cannot abide.

Eraserhead, 13: Game of Death, Oldboy

How good is 13: Game of Death? Or I guess I'm asking should I go out of my way to order it on amazon or could I go my life without seeing it?

Also, I'm not sure Eraserhead is a psychological thriller...although it is crazy

Fight Club is fantastic, book is even better, Chuck Palahniuk is the man.
Memento was also incredible

Well, I certainly enjoyed it, but it's not life-changing. I'd buy it form amazon if it was like $10-$15.

And no, it's not really the same as the others, but it definitely has the severely unsettling feeling that most psychological thrillers give. Dat imagery and soundtrack.

Psychological thriller? More like an action movie with dreaming in it.
#28
Clockwork Orange.
Memento.
Silence of the Lambs.
Taxi Driver.

Idk if Clockwork Orange is a psych thirller or not, but I mean it uses controversial psychology, as in the practice of it, in the movie.

Unknown would count as that, right? And also, Shutter Island and Silence of the Lambs.

"Psychological Thriller" is a vague genre i think, but i guess that Taxi Driver, Leon the Professional and Vertigo are all really good character profiles.
#36
I'm gonna have to go with Silence of the Lamb.
