Ok, so I loosened a screw on my cube 15x and the power squeezer button fell through its hole. So now I am trying to open up the amp and put it back. I'm not sure how to open it up though. I unscrewed all the screws I could on the back plate but five screws wont come out. Does anyone know how to open it up?

Those five screws that I circled wont come out. That's not my amp, just a pic I found on the internet. Thanks

If you could get your hands on a electonic screwdriver of failing that even a drill with a philips head attachment and you should be good to go. Just be careful not to drive the screw in more or ruin the threads or grooves

on my cheap fender thing, i pretty much have to take out every screw.

but anyway, how wont they come out? do you have a screwdriver of the appropriate size? turn it anticlockwise, push down on it whilst turning. if you use an electric drill, it'll probably spin too fast and strip the screws. or just use it really slow, but screwdriver is easier

I used a power drill and the screw turns, but it wont come out. I really need it fixed.

First off, make the drill be gone. Use a real screw driver. Just turn it counterclockwise and get some needle nose pliers and try to pull it out. Don't force it.

and if still nothing happens lets pretend a mentally retarded iranian kid made the screws that were used and turn it clockwise and see what happens.

If all else fails get the hammer.

Nope, the plyers couldn't even pull the screws out. I really don't want to take it to a tech. The screws turn ok, but they wont unscrew from the plate. I don't know what to do.. Would wd 40 be okay to put by the screws? Or would that ruin the amp?

NO! ONLY PUSSIES TAKE SHIT TO TECHS!!!

And WD40... would just be pointless. And it might fuck with something in the amp. Try just turning the and just pull out the plate.

I tried taking the plate off but only the bottom part of it will come off a little; the top won't move at all.

Well.... honestly it seems as though you may be fucked.

Might try getting a chizel (however you spell that) and knocking off the screw heads.

I fixed it. I had to take the speaker out and I opened it up that way. Thanks for the help.
