she stood above me striding a lip-bit common tongue
something about holidays and a hint of bubblegum
forunately corridors neverending gloom
by the time the time got going
the mood had left the room

a raconteur in hiding brooding behind the grass
innacurate findings lead to a misread of a glance
fortunately windows never saw the sun
by the time the time got going
the moment had upped and gone

she stood shimmering in the light
what a hopeless overture
for her mother nature eyes had
already closed the door
and what was possibly a feeling
had turned it's head around
another double take would have left her on the ground
so turn your head around
and keep whistling that same tune as you leave

slipped disc keeps on spinning and the light remains as dim
as it was when she collided with you and followed you in
unfortunately accidents neverending tricks
by the time I had her hands up
she'd swore she had me licked

a raconteur in hiding brooding behind the grass
innaccurate findings lead to a misread of a glance

she stood shimmering in the light
what a hopeless overture
for her mother nature eyes had
already closed the door
and what was possibly a feeling
had turned it's head around
another double take would have left her on the ground
so turn your head around
and keep whistling that same tune as you leave

she said something about holidays neverending bubblegum
though the costume she had laid out sunk me to my knees
what an unfortunate time to tease
and what was possibly a feeling
had reared it's head again
with another double take I swept her from the ground
so turn your head around
and keep whistling that same tune as you leave
