Hi all, this is my newest upload. I wanted to write and record something that was utterly ridiculous whilst still being playable (on guitar at least), so I came up with this.

There are death metal sections, one or two modern metal bits and a couple of djent-esque bridges.

I wrote the whole thing on Guitar Pro, put the drums into Drumkit From Hell and the bass into a Cubase VST, and recorded the guitar parts with my Schecter Hellraiser, Peavey 6505+ and an SM57.

Feedback welcome

I swear, everyone and their mother is using Drumkit From Hell for their death metal masterpieces...but oh well...
Really tight playing, but the guitars are really muddy. Liked the grooving bass in the middle of the song, it complemented the guitar riffs nicely. Some of the drum programming could use some refinement, as some of the parts gel better than others. Pretty sick solo! Not digging the breakdown near the end. Great songwriting though!

Hi ... this is a rather good song ... though it lacks a little more catchy melodies like the one in the ending ... your tremoloes are quiet fast but the song has some structure issues ... but that could even come from the realy muddy and burried guitars ... you should give them some more 8k, 4k and a slight boost overall loudness cause the drums are dominant ... the programmin could be a tad more humanized but it seems to be all playable and quiet realistic .. i dunno but was the guitar realy in tune ?? or did you use a lot of outer scale notes for the leads ?? ...

you ARE realy talented that s for sure ... you are quiet quick and your playin is realy tight ... some harmonies could be a tad more pleasing (if this was not a tuning issue) ... though it was quiet weird it demonstrated the amount of techniques you have mastered ... and that are quiet a lot

keep the work going and maybe use some more melodies (haha as if i do a lot of em)

if you d like to do c4C here is mine https://www.ultimate-guitar.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1465076

anyway ... i would like to here more of you

Yeah this song is pretty different to my other originals, which is what I wanted. All my others are heavily thrash/metalcore which I felt like stepping away from for this. I have recently been trying to improve the recording tone I get so thanks for the feedback there.
