I know this is a hard thread because like most people I go through a favorite artist about every 2 months. I get hooked on one and then play their music out ha. But overall I can safely say that The Beatles are my favorite band of alltime. I know this one will be a popular vote but I would like to know of some artists that maybe I don't know of!

slash- check out his solo album and the first velvet revolver album "contraband". his guns n roses stuff is well known but the new stuff is great too.
if you like guitarists/ joe satriani- no lyrics all instrumental- check out the "surfing with the alien" (album).

Surfing WTA, such a great album, got the oppurtunity to see him in 2006 and the whole band blew me away.

I've been riding to the Doors pretty consistently for a couple of months, but my fav band is definately Black Sabbath. I also love Jimi, Zeppelin, Ozzy, AC/DC, Metallica, Pink Floyd, etc.
