According to Wikipedia, Brandon can either be derived from the Old English for "gorse" and "hill", a variant of the Irish Brendan, which apparently comes from an old Celtic word for "prince". Apparently I could also be named after Marlon Brando.

I suppose I could add that my last name means "peaceful ruler".

Altogether, I am either a peaceful prince, the peaceful ruler of a grassy hill, or just named after Marlon Brando.

My name is Huber.

Wikipedia says it derives from the German word Hube meaning hide, a unit of land a farmer might possess.

But I like the Urban Dictionary definition better, "probably the smartest man one could ever meet"

I wish I was Scandinavian because then I would have a name like Vladimir and of course, awesome guitar skills.

According to wikipedia "Brian" is either derived from an Old Celtic word meaning high or noble, or an Old Occitan word meaning maggot. It's also the name of the dreamiest Backstreet Boy.

I've got three names actually:
- My first name which was my birth name (now out of use)
- My second name which was given to me when it was found that my original name was mispelt in English and therefore a new name was given.
- My third name is by adoption

My first name is TziYeen means, "Kind". My second name is MeiXiang means, "Fragrant". My third name ZiXian is the correct spelling of my first name and what I am known as by adoption. People call me either by my second or third names. I'm thinking about adopting Harmy as my English name

"Etymologically, the name is derived from the Greek "Αλέξανδρος" (Aléxandros), meaning "defending men" [1] or "protector of men", a compound of the verb "ἀλέξω" (alexō, "to ward off, to avert, to defend"[2] and the noun "ἀνδρός" (andros), genitive of "ἀνήρ" (anēr), "man".[3] It is an example of the widespread motif of Greek (or Indo-European more generally) names expressing "battle-prowess", in this case the ability to withstand or push back an enemy battle line."

TL;DR: If you don't back the **** up you gon git ****ed up.

Huh, who are you? Apparently some sort of god of war huh? Oh and you dabble in agriculture too? Well aren't you fancy.

Not only do I command the powers of the nature, I'm also the god of strength, destruction, protection and fertility.

That's right, I do the ****ing too.

EDIT: Oh and lostlegion, Alexi is not actually even a scandinavic name, but Alexi Laiho just chose to write his name with X to sound cooler.

That's kinda of a bummer having a name that means "nappy-headed peasant."
