Hello all

My girlfriends grampa found a couple of old guitars at his local pawn shop and bought them, he's not much of a guitar guy he just likes to restore old stuff, but after seeing a picture of the Ibanez he picked up i got really curious. Problem is i only got pics of it so im kinda hoping somebody here can help identifingy the good thing!

im pretty sure its an Ibanez RG and apparently it has a Shaller Floyd Rose II but the rest is unclear D:

thanks in advance for any suggestions!

Could be an old Roadstar. It's odd that it only has 22 frets.

The Ibanez RX series had 22 frets and usually a synchronized tremolo (According to Ibanez Wiki), but there's a Floyd, and I've seen that the headstocks were mostly unfinished, and I haven't seen that finish in Ibanez guitars (At least not yet)

Sorry for bringing this "Old" threat up again, but i finally got a picture of the back. Im told that there was no Serial Number to be found...

Take the pickguard off the guitar and look at the control pots, there might be a number stamped on them that could potentially lead to figuring out when the guitar was made. That would help considerably since there were so many different RG's produced during different years.
