Hey guys, finally decided to buy a new amp, but am unsure what to get.

Im willing to spend about £500, possibly £600.

I play alot of different genres. Im a Muse fan and play alot of their stuff.
Will be picking myself up a Fuzz Factory to help with that, so something that would sound good with that pedal would be great. Also play a bit of Metallica, and thats probably the heaviest I'll go.

Happy with new or used. I live in Portsmouth.

Mostly just for home, but would like the option to use at gigs.

I play a Fender Telecaster Blacktop

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated

If you go used, you might be able to pick up a Marshall JCM2000 DSL which is what Matt used for Origin of Symmetry and Absolution. That will cover Metallica with ease too. That would be my recommendation.

Coda music have a DSL and a TSL combo in stock for that kind of money in their secondhand section. Worth a butchers matey!

+1 to a used JCM2000 DSL & Fuzz Factory (also used). High output P90s are also a big part of the core of Matt's sound.

Thanks for the replies guys.
Id prefer a combo but if I could get a head and cab in my price range I wouldn't mind.

The JCM2000 DSL looks good Is the JCM2000 DSL 401 the same thing?

I plan on getting some BK Nailbombs
