So, UG what are your favourite stage moves?, they can be ones you actually do or they can be by an other artist.
My favourite move is something i stole off Herman Li from Dragonforce, he called the move "the break your guitar string noise" i call it "a Herman Li" as a tribute to him, its basically the last sound he makes in this video here but i havent got it to sound as good as his yet

Windmills, Scissor kicks, mid solo philosophy discussions, guitar spins and whatever the heck the bassist in Bleeding Through does in Love Lost in a hail of gunfire

i keep asking my dad for wood. but he keeps getting annoyed (he's working on a house). and i'm too young to go outside.

my favourite stage move is playing a guitar.
I like analogue Solid State amps that make no effort to be "tube-like", and I'm proud of it...

...A little too proud, to be honest.

My favorite is "Damn that chick is hot . . . uh-oh, when did we start playing the chorus?"

At least you are being honest.

When I get into it, I usually do the Paramore thing hahah *sigh* =/
Mark Tremonti: I have my own mixer on stage so I can alter my volmes while on stage

Myles Kennedy: And why's that Mark?

Mark Tremonti:....I have trust issues with the sound guy

im a huge fan of jumping together! it makes people look at you and it grabs their attention. i also like go to one side of the stage for a lead, and run to the other side so everyone gets attention, when a crowd is really into it they appreciate that alot!

and i dont do a guitar spin but i do dramatically spin my whole body for a song, huge impact lol

plus there's rocking out on the monitors or the drums.

but i would have to say the best is a nice jump with the rest of the band, it just pumps me up everytime we do it

Almost every time that happened to me it was right before a solo.

Well as Tenacious D taught us there can only be ONE move:
POOOWEEER SLIIIIDE.
But please, only use it to limbo under closing security doors / while playing on a stage with Darth Vader and Laser Sharks.
Otherwise your band members will perish from the awesomeness and the audience will melt, Indiana Jones-style.

Not a fan of cheesy stage moves. I like to look like I'm having fun and enjoying myself...which is almost always genuine.

Hold the guitar vertically, facing the audience.

Hold the guitar with the headstock pointing the audience while you are still facing the audience.

On your knees

Leaning back

One foot on the monitor

I prefer movement over perfectly played songs any day, but if you can't even play it standing still...

So yeah, I move around alot

And I keep a foot on the monitor as I'm headbanging once in a while.

I do the same during rehearsals.

I like to do a lot of power slides. I also sometimes do the thing the bassist in Emmure does, when he just picks the low B string and makes the "rock on" sign with his left hand.

I'm curious, and I want to see this live...!

I was thinking about trying Rob Trujillo's crab/spider walk, but I think I would tear a muscle and not get back up!

In all honesty, I enjoy moving around and playing because it normally just gives the crowd some energy, too!

First and foremost, you have to be overweight like I am, otherwise it wouldn't be a walrus.

Step 1: Remove Shirt
Step 2: Perform limp hops around the stage while playing, allowing your blubber to jiggle everywhere
Step 3: Watch in amazement at how people think you don't care about your weight
