hello, i currently own a ibanez RG350DX and there is very little real estate when picking. I constantly hit the middle pickup when im playing away.

I literally never use the thing and its a single coil. Is there a way i can lower it down flush to the scratchplate? I would love to remove it but it looks well with my guitar and my OCD kicks in

Any idea's would be great

You should be able to loosen the mounting screws which will lower the pickup. You could also try finding an HH pickguard and removing the middle pickup all together (if you don't use it).

Just loosen the two screws on ether side of it and it will go down.
