I just bought a Gibson Les Paul Traditional Lightburst.

Whenever I mute the low E string with my right hand (push down slightly) and pick it, it gives the kind of "wah" sound from the bridge pickup. I tried lowering my pickup and it doesnt go away. I changed strings even and it is still there.

What can I do?

try to go more in depth of what if sounds like....or sound clips

The only real answer to the SG vs Les Paul debate is to get a Flying V and laugh at all the suckers who don't have one.

if you embrace inaccurate intonation it can be quite arousing.

Its kind of like a vibration/magnetic sound, only really evident if you play the guitar unplugged

ask over at thegearpage.com, they are like the interwebz experts at harmonics.

I wondered why the frisbee was getting bigger, then it hit me.
