I hope this is this right forum to post in, but I noticed that a screw came loose after a night of heavy jamming on my toggle switch. I removed the back cover and can see where it needs to be screwed back into, but the black cap from the front of my guitar prohibits me from pulling the piece through the back. How can one go about removing that piece and also keeping it to put back on?

If it's a strat-style switch cap, you can just pull it off. If it's a Les Paul style cap, the cap itself unscrews.

it's a schecter c-1 classic--i don't know if that is strat style of les paul
