I'm in the market for a new guitar, around 1000USD maximum in price. It needs to be hard tail, I've really grown to love the simplicity of hardtails, having 3 out my 5 guitars being ones with trems. So hardtail is a must. I really don't want anything black, or grey, or any other muted colors, I want something, "loud" I guess would be the proper word, in the color department. (I know I could just repaint it, but I lack the time, money, and expertise.) I want something that has good upper fret access. I don't want a Fender or a Gibson. Can I get some suggestions?

.Hard Tail
.VERY Colorful
.Amazing access to all 24 frets
.You could play any genre with this guitar because the JB/59 combo is very popular and sounds amazing with whatever you play it through

Oooh, that is very pretty. I will definitely consider it.

I should also add for other people, I prefer set neck or neck thru, I don't really have a set genre I play, it's usually Jazz or Rock though. Single coils or Humbuckers are fine.

What kind of music do you play?
Why no Fender Gibson?
Any wood, pickup or neck preferences?

We need more information to give you good suggestions.
