What would be goo tubes to put in my blackstar to get better classic rock gain and better cleans. It's fine now but if I can do anything to help it that be great.

Same with speakers. It's got cel 70 in it 12". What's a good classic rock brand?

Btw I love my blackstar ht40.

Jj are always a good choice. With a Blackstar though you'd probably be better off modding it. I haven't seen the schematic for the HT-40 but it's Blackstar so you can bet there will be clipping diodes in there somewhere negating the effect of good tubes.
For classic rock tones I'd be looking towards greenback clones. Scumbacks, seeing as how you live in the States
