I'm in NYC for 4 days. What are some awesome things to do here?

Go to Flight Club in Union Square. Awesome hats and shoes.

Hang around Time Square. There's a Hard Rock Cafe (impossible to get into but...) and I think B.B. King's cafe or whatever is around there. I went there once and saw a Clapton cover band, it was awesome.

Go rent a bike and go for a ride in Central Park. Hang out in Washington Square and people watch or something, listen to somebody who's probably playing saxophone.

There's no such thing; there never was. Where I am going you cannot follow me now.

There's gotta be millions of these threads lurking around the search bar.

I'll give you the same advice I give anyone who asks me about anything; find Jay-Z. Proceed to spit hot lines off the dome. Cruise the block in a low-low. Mission accomplished.
Do you feel warm within your cage?

And have you figured out yet -

Yeah, I guess that depends which borough you're in. I'm just over the Hudson so it's usually an adventure when I'm there

If you're 21 go to Andrew WK's club.

Go to a sushi restaurant called NINJA, heard it's amazing.

Musicals

Visit all the landmarks and stuff

Find a concert and just go to it

See a Broadway musical. It seems like an obvious suggestion, but it won't disappoint.

Good food:
Katz's Deli on the Lower East Side.
Papaya King Hot Dogs all over town
Nathan's Hot Dogs in Brooklyn
Grimaldi's Pizza in Brooklyn
Junior's Deli in Brooklyn (best cheesecake ever)
Peter Luger Steakhouse
Doughnut Plant (for the weirdest and most delicious donuts you'll ever see/taste)
A little Italian place in Hell's Kitchen called Cara Mia
Anything in Chinatown really

Plus there's the multitude of Ray's pizza. Ray Bari was always my favorite for slices.

Non food related:
Metropolitan Museum of Art
MoMA
The Museum of Natural History
Central Park (Zoo) (Also Strawberry Fields if you're a Beatles/John Lennon fan)
Sightseeing (Statue of Liberty, Empire State Building, Ellis Island, Ground Zero, etc.)
There's always stuff going on somewhere in the city, look up when you're going and you'll find something.

Sometimes I like to deliberately get lost and just wander. New York's great for that. You find stuff you never would if you were looking.

I'm almost always in Wifi, so I just went with 200mb a month for $15 a month. The most I've ever used in a month is like, 70mb when I got lost in Connecticut once.

Also, both ATT and Verizon no longer offer unlimited to new customers, the maximum is 2Gb/mo.

So connecticut is the place you easily get lost in?

Take the ferry over to Staten Island and visit me.
Or...
There is this dumpling place on Mott street (right off of Canal) I cant remember the name of the place or the exact location. But this place is like the size of a closet and the most amazing place in existence. Me and 3 of my friends went and we pooled together $20 and we asked the lady how much we can get for the money, and she said "uuuh wunhunnit dumprings" (100). So we purchased and consumed 100 large and amazing dumplings in about 5 minutes.

If you eat at Olive Garden, Sbarro, or PF Changs while there, you should jump into the East River and die.

Just sayin'

Funny thing is, my friends and I go out of the city just to find chains like these. Still haven't gone to Sonic...

edit: and whatever happened to that NYC meet up...?

That sounds amazing!

If I was with my friends, I would definitely go explore for some small obscure places like this, but unfortunately I'm with my family, so it will be much harder to coordinate
