So many people here blow Green Day "selling out" out of proportion. They act like their defending the USA saying Green Day hates it. No they don't. They spoke out agianst the government, never the entire country like bands like Anti-Flag do. Isn't punk about rebellion in the first place? If they can say that stuff about the government, then they still exhibit the qualities of punk rockers.

On the other hand, they won countless awards, made a Broadway musical, and are plannng a movie. They we're called sellouts because it appears they we're just in music for the money. Doing all this doesn't help convince people their not in it for the money (not that anyone should have to do that.)

I don't care, I love their music. From 39/Smooth to 21th Century Breakdown they have produced quality music and I can't wait to see what they come out with next!
