Hey guys, my line 6 toneport ux1 just died on me. The light on the top doesn't turn on anymore, and my computer says theres a problem with the hardware...

I still have the gearbox software though, so does anyone have a suggestion for the cheapest way i can plug my guitar into my computer and use gearbox?

You probably need to install the drivers.

This is terrible advice. Even worse than the useless dry, sarcastic comment I made.

I'm too old for the Jim Morrison look now. When I was gigging I had a fine arse.

If it's anything like podfarm, you'll need an iLok, as the license key is stored on the UX1 (but can be put on an ilok)

I'd say another UX1.

Or a POD Studio GX.

In the EDIT:

If by the off chance you live in New Mexico, I can sell you my old UX1 for $30.
