It sucks to have to always stick your music in a genera but I don't think it fits with metal to well, it reminded me more of 311, green day . The facebook tracks sounded a bit low bit rate so it was hard to judge the quality.

Not bad. Also, to the above, I'd still consider this metal. If you consider Iron Maiden metal, than this is definitely metal. I'm not a huge fan of the parts that came in with screaming. Not that I don't like screams, I'm a death/thrash metal vocalist. But when it comes in with you guys, it ends up sounding like a generic As I Lay Dying kind of thing. I think your sound really suits the cleans, and if you continue to focus on those I think you can develop this into something really cool.
