For those who don't yet know Smith Westerns, it's a really nice uprising band
I'm desperatly trying to figure out the song Weekend (live here ).
Sadly, I never transcribed a song before, and I kind of suck at figuring out chords...

So far, I got the intro :

e -----------------------------------------------------------
b -----------------------------------------------------------
g ----------9-11b---(13)--(13)-(13)r 11-9--------------------
d --7--9/11--------------------------------11~---------------
a -----------------------------------------------------------
e -----------------------------------------------------------

e -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
b -----------------------------------------12b--(14)r 12-10----10-12b--(14)r 12----10--12b-
g ----------9-11b (13)--(13)-(13)r-12-9-------------------11------------------11---------
d --7--9/11--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
a -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
e -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

e ----------------------------
b -(14)r 12-10---------10-----
g -------------11\9/11--------
d ----------------------------
a ----------------------------
e ----------------------------

For the verses I figured
A (1) F#m D Dm/F

(1) : He does a bar chord on the fifth fret after the A, but I don't know what it is.

For the bridge Bm Dm sounds nice

And I can't get the chorus... something around A and D

Here are the lyrics, with what I got of the chords...
A (1) A
Her tears are never ending
D
You run away but stop pretending
Dm
Na na na na na, a girl like you
A Am
What do you think? Is it normal?
F#m
To go through life oh so formal?
D Dm/F
Na na na na na, a girl like you

Weekends are never fun
Unless you're around here too
Weekends are never fun
Unless you're around here too

Head-on stars aligned
All the dreams are on my side
Na na na na na, a girl like you
Took her fall, so i felt down
Never wanna see anything
Na na na na na, a girl like you

Weekends are never fun
Unless you're around here too
Weekends are never fun
Unless you're around here too

I'd be really grateful if someone helped me out

The first chord after the A major barre chord in the verse in AMaj7.

---5----------------------- 1st finger
---6----------------------- 3rd finger
---6---------------------- 2nd finger
---7---------------------- 4th finger
---5---------------------- 1st finger

Hope this helps geenux

Thanks, looks like it!
Still the chorus. I got the bridge, I'll post it on tab later, for now it's only written on a piece of paper...

Ok, I finally got something playable
I couldn't get the chorus right, so I took the lead guitar part instead. Anyway, it's a much more beautiful part than the rythm guitar.
I tabbed the bridge too.
Well, looks good, and doesn't sound too bad. When I play it, some of it sounds kind of off... Maybe it's because I don't play (and sing...) very well, or because I made mistakes (well, I guess I'm bound to have done some).
If someone knows where, please let me know.
