first whole song with a solo I think was Warmness of the Soul by Avenged Sevenfold, I was so amazed that I could do it, then like... 2 months later I realized it was so simple haha. Now I improv most of my solos

The first FULL song I learned was YYZ by Rush. It took 2 whole years. I learned many shorter riffs and melodies along the way too.
