Hey, I'm looking to replace the pickups on my Hagstrom Ultra Swede to a Seymour Duncan JB in the bridge and a '59 in the neck. My ultra swede is wired right now to coil tap the humbuckers that came stock with the guitar. What I'd like to know is, is every humbucker able to be coil tapped or are their only specific ones? And also, is it any harder to wire a pickup to be coil tapped? Thanks.

Not every humbucker is able to, look for ones that are 4-conductor. I think most if not all new Seymour Duncans can but make sure.

It's a tiny bit harder to install, instead of two wires you solder four.

Didn't you say that you had a stuffed fox that you would occasionally fuck?

ok, so this one here:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/seymour-duncan-sh-4-jb-humbucker-pickup
it doesn't say anything about 4 conductor but it says "SH-4". is that just the model number, or is that like a short hand for saying 4 conductor?

and this one:
http://www.musiciansfriend.com/accessories/seymour-duncan-tb-4-jb-reverse-pickup/300000000001715
it says 4 conductor in the description but its f-spaced (which, I think means its for guitars with a floyd rose?).

can anyone explain?

The SH-4 is a 4 conductor pickup, unless it's a different SH-4 from the one I have. It's only slightly harder to wire up for coil tapping over normal, as long as you know how to solder and can follow a wiring diagram.
