Here's one of my newest songs. It's not quite done, but I'm making good progress! For some reason, most of my recent lyrics have had to do with love. Go figure.

Verse 1:
A hundred thousand miles between the start and to the end,

Your hopes of being anything were buried in the sand.

Only to uncover them, when years and years had passed,

Anything, but everything, it's your last missed chance.

Verse 2:
Scattered in you chemistry, the bits and pieces tore.

The fragments of your perseverence spilled out on the floor.

You knelt down to pick them up and missed it by a glance.

Anything, but everything, it's your last missed chance.

Chorus:

Baby, if you lock the door,
I'll stand up and knock it down.
No one has to know tonight.
My lips are sealed,
I've swallowed the key.

I hope you guys enjoy this. But I hope even more that you're honest if you don't.
I ALWAYS return critique, so don't be bashful!

Thanks!
