Can somebody recommend me some eerie sounding bands?

What I mean by eerie:

Together Again - Evanescence

Save Me - Avenged Sevenfold

I really like creepy, eerie sounding bands, but I really can't find any other than these two. Again, I don't even know if this the right place for this.
Guitars:
-Gibson Les Paul Custom Shop Silverburst (Invader/'59)
-Fender Standard Telecaster HH Black (SH-5/'59)
-Fender Standard Stratocaster HH White (Nazgul/'59)
-Austin Guitars Les Paul Goldtop Copy (Distortion/'59)
-Ovation ApplauseAE44II Elite Black Acoustic

Amps/Cabs
-Peavey 6505+
-Peavey Stereo Chorus 2x12 Combo
-Behringer Ultracoustic ACX450 1x8 Acoustic Combo
-Marshall MX2x12 Cabinet

Wayyyyy too many effects pedals...

What about early Black Sabbath, Holocaust, Tool (i guess), King Diamond and Mercyful Fate...umm I could probably go on but yeah.Thats probably enough.

You should also try listening to horror soundtracks because if the songs arent made specifically for the movie then they tend to have some interesting as you say...eerie sounding bands.

Oh yeah, also Marilyn Manson.

O Negative? Doom metal in general.

My ex did the same. Cheated on me and then acted like I'd given her sister a facial. Women are retarded.

I could never understand the appeal of Sunn O)))

I mean, I can respect the interesting angle that they're taking on music, but it just doesn't interest me.

As far as creepy music goes, The Axis of Perdition kinda creeped me out once.

Listen to that album alone. In the dark. In pitch black, I mean.

Try the album The Work Which Transforms God by Blut Aus Nord.

Could you elaborate on what specific aesthetic elements you find appealing? That would greatly help in providing recommendations.
