I found this amp on craigslist for $40. I saw the same amp on sale at my local music store used for $90, and there's supposedly nothing wrong with it, so I'm thinking it's a steal and am probably going to go for it.. however I've heard peaveys are best for metal and I'm wanting to play more toward punk/alt-rock/non-metal music. would it be acceptable to play a les paul junior style (copy..) guitar through this with that kind of music? I'm a beginner, so I'm a bit clueless. also not too picky but I'd like it to sound at least decent.
excuse the noobness.

...I think it's just a practice amp?
