Hey guys,

This is my 1st post. I've been playing electric for a few years now and I've been wanting to learn to play a Flamenco guitar.

Anyways, I know most people would suggest that I buy a beginner guitar (possibly $300-400+) but I'm fairly used to taking good care of a guitar and I know that I am devoted enough to learn this 'new' play style.

Anyways, my question to the forum is:
Which guitar should I buy with a budget of max $1000 (From what I've seen, that's the price of a *decent* flamenco guitar, although I will allow some 'wiggle' room in regards to price.)

I've been looking at some Cordobas, specifically this one:

Is there a better brand? I was also looking at some Almansa's, but I am at a loss in regards to quality of each manufacturer.

I'm looking for a pretty bright but strong sound.

Thanks!!

I wouldn't focus so much on the price but rather the sound. I would learn at least one melody to completion or close to it and then hit music stores and play it till you find one that fits your style. At least that is how I would do it.
