So i played on and sg special the other day, and loved how it felt! but i already have a couple of humbucker guitars, so i thought if i did end up buying one, i'd customize it a little!

A few of you will probably remember the surf green strat i modded a while back!

I loved how this guitar sounded, and luckily i have some of the same pickups laying around still!
So here was my idea!

Refinish it in surf green, Maybe a nitro finish. Jazzmaster pickups.
I love the p90 SG's i've seen, and these are pretty much just big p90s in all fairness!

I'll probably change the knobs to the mock up too!

Whats everyone think?

I'd move the toggle to the pickguard so that you had more room around the knobs. Might be a bit crowded the way you have it now. Other than that I think it's a totally cool idea.

The toggle's in the place all SG's are. i dont really wanna get involved with filling holes and stuff so i'm just gonna leave the positioning stock. it's probably my bad mock up skills that makes it look crowded :P
