Title says it all. Response to the Marvel thread obviously.

I say Batman for hero and Joker for villain.
The fact that Batman has no powers but can beat anyone with them with preparation makes him my choice, and the Joker's pure unpredictability is why I choose him. Plus he gets all the best stories, and steals the ones in which he's only a background villain.
Yes, it's the obvious answer. No, that does not make it any less awesome.
Please excuse my godawful username. I was thirteen.

I find Batman annoying and unheroic.

The Green Lantern and The Flash tie for hero, and the Joker is the best villain, its just unfortunate he's in Batman comics.

Looks like Harry Potter about to fly an old biplane. A lady killer, but the ladies cannot figure out which state he's from - Indiana, or Pennsylvania?

Rorschach (from Watchmen, which is part of DC) for Hero and The Riddler (from Batman, obviously) for villain! Pure bad-ass-ery right there.

a lot of batman love. I just feel like mentioning how painfully stupid gotham city is. Their criminals escape jail/asylums like every other day. Might as well have them 'locked up' in a daycare.

batman is a hero for having to deal with that much incompetence.

I agree with you on the Gotham City part, but I still love Batman.

Telling a bunch of people who love Batman that you love Rorschach to get hipster points is like telling people who love chocolate ice cream that you love dark chocolate.
