hey online guitar gurus and shredmasters

i'm in need of a repair advice:
recently while playing my epiphone sg400 the guitar suddenly went dead. I proceeded to understand the situation by removing the back cover of the guitar... then i kind of fiddled around with the wires and such and found that the guitar sounded only when i adjusted the wires that was soldered to the jack to a certain precision.

I was wondering what i have to do to get a permanent fix...
perhaps a resoldering of the wires are in order?

Thank you for your help!

You said it yourself the guitar made sound once everything was connected so what should you do?
make sure there are no faulty soldering points or loose wires etc.
and if that still doesn't work i recommend taking it in to a shop before you mess something up on it.
