Hey guys, I was wondering if you guys know of any Christian bands that have some pretty heavy/riffy songs? Im looking for stuff besides Switchfoot and Skillet. Just basically something that has a nice riff or two in it, doesnt scream (preferably), doesnt need drop tuned, and is manageable for some amateur players.
Thank you for your time!

OT: As I Lay Dying and Underoath as well.
All that really comes to mind. I'm not much of a 'Christian' listener.

What's wrong with Drop Tuning? Makes it easier to plays.
Check outs the band Horde.
Christian Metal.
Virgin Black.
Christian Metal.
I now hate you because you listen to music because it associates itself with relgion, to piss you off, here is some Muslim metal.

Orphaned Land.
BETTER THAN ANY OF THOSE BANDS.

Um...
And of course you can go listen to Burzum, Immortal, Destroyer 666, Slayer, Eye Hate God (not sure), venom, Mayhem,..

I was only looking to get songs to do for my church on wednesdays. Im not gonna drop tune my guitar for 2 songs then stop everything to change it back up to go into standard. And just because im labeled as a "Christian" doesnt mean I dont listen to anything other than christian music. Look at my signature for example.
