Crazy no.

I've decided my idea of running a 1/4 stack and a pro reverb will take up far too much room on shitty little london basement stages. and also is a bit hard to fit in a vw polo.

So. With a budget of £1.8K what amp could i easily get that has..

Lovely cleans (Not "With an E.Q and chorus it sounds okay" clean. I mean good clean)

Nice dirt. thick dirt. Not just dirt. Mud.

And a fairly high gain channel. think Glassjaw, Rival Schools and the like.

Also im in the Surrey/London area if that helps. Im willing to go used.

ALSO REMEMBER.

Im not in the states. Mesas are very. very expensive. Also Importing boutique brands. is very. very expensive.

Thanks!

Egnater Rebel, Renegade or Tourmaster.

Fairly high gain, nice thick overdriven tone, nice cleans and power reduction.

Boogie Roadster/Roadking has jazz cleans to as heavy as metal as you want.

A Mesa Single Rectifier maybe? They cost about £1500 here. Worth checking out at least.

i haven't tried it, but the CAE OD 100 is meant to be the thing for that.
I'm an idiot and I accidentally clicked the "Remove all subscriptions" button. If it seems like I'm ignoring you, I'm not, I'm just no longer subscribed to the thread. If you quote me or do the @user thing at me, hopefully it'll notify me through my notifications and I'll get back to you.

I'll have to put the Classic T models on my to-try list. Shame the finish options there are Anachronism Gold, Nuclear Waste and Aged Clown, because in principle the plaintop is right up my alley.

Presumably because the CCF (Combined Corksniffing Forces) of MLP and Gibson forums would rise up against them, plunging the land into war.

Check out Blackstar's Series One amps. I've only heard good things about them. Supposedly fantastic all around amps.

Maybe a Brunetti? They're supposed to be fairly inexpensive, being that you live across the pond and all.

Orange Rockerverb 100 MK II is another option, as is ENGL.
