Apparently, they have gotten back together and may tour and put out another record.

I don't know how trustworthy the site is, but
Interesting.

Thoughts?

SKEDIT: The article itself won't show anymore, it 404'd.

http://metaltalk.net/
If you go to that, you can see the article though, it's right on the front page.

SKEDIT2: Article is back up.

SKEDIT3: http://www.metalhammer.co.uk/news/black-sabbath-reunited-with-original-lineup-and-new-material/

It's now confirmed.
Also, I posted this before the UG article on the front page, so don't go saying I just ripped the news.

I'm not finding this anywhere else and both Ozzy/Geezer have publicly stated that they aren't reuniting anytime soon (at least not this year), I'm gonna say fake.

Early Sabbath were incredibly psychedelic and awesome. They kinda sucked with Dio and stuff.

This!! Tony with Jon Lord, Nicko McBrain and Ian Gillan? I'd like some more of that thank you

edit: Also, the last time I heard Ozzy comment on the idea, he said he would be terribly afraid of it not living up to the rest of their material. I think I agree, and I would be happy to see them tour, but they don't need to record unless they can come up with something really special again.

Ah, I see. They must be down temporarily.

I see they've fixed the problem, but I still don't believe it.

Sounds waaaay to good to be true.

This... looks suspicious. <.< >.>

It would be kind of cool to see a new Black Sabbath album after what... almost 15 years now? But then again the material might not be up to par with what the original lineup created back in the 70's. Oh well, until it's confirmed from more than one source, I am waiting.

Wiki (feel free to scoff at that) Seems to think they're getting back together.
Look at the years active of the original lineup http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Black_Sabbath_band_members

I have no desire to destroy the memories of seeing them the first time around.

Who the fuck am I kidding. I don't remember it at all. So it must have been great.

Wow I hope this is true, the singing will suck but Iommi's guitar tone is better than ever right now!
R.I.P Jon Lord, Rory Gallagher and Jimi!

Would absolutely cream my pants if this happened. Nobody did Sabbath better than Ozzy's f'ed up witchy vocals. The self titled is one of the heaviest albums of all time.

I no longer give a shit if my A level results come back on thursday a complete failure. This is far more important.

I'm really on the fence if I want to see them release anything new, but I would definitely go see them... even though Ozzy doesn't have much in the way of a voice these days.
